Sandra Landau - Director

Having established the agency in 1986, I have welcomed the development of an industry which is so much a part of every family's life.

In 1996 I joined The International Au Pair Association (IAPA) as a Founder Member and actively participated as an Executive Board Member of that Association for nine years. During that period I became instrumental in the formation of the British Au Pair Agencies Association (BAPAA) and since its inception some seven years ago have held the position of Chairperson.

I regularly attend meetings concerning industry related topics, international conferences and travel abroad to meet partner agencies to ensure standards are maintained and a good supply of candidates provided.

I am proud to have been associated in the growth of this Cultural Exchange Programme worldwide and with your help hope to encourage more young people to travel and enjoy the amazing benefits of international relations.

Chetna Khatri - Office Manager

I commenced my position at Childcare International in 1994, and as Office Manager I have the overall responsibility for the smooth running of the office. My years of experience liasing with clients and working in this field, has allowed me to develop an in depth understanding of the requirements from both parties.

My aim is to provide an amicable, positive and consistent working relationship for both clients and au pairs. A professional, ethical and prompt service is what I strive to deliver with each placement.

Brenda Ross - Programme Manager

I have been associated with the company from its early years. Whilst living in Manchester I became involved in the outbound programme to America and on moving south some 8 years ago I joined the team in London. My main area of responsibility is the co-ordination of our Work Programme in the hotel/hospitality field, bringing young Europeans to fulfil placements for our work experience programme in the UK. I also have responsibility for our outbound programmes to America, Australia and Europe.

Aleksandra Atczuk - Applications Manager

I am a 27 year old Pole from Warsaw where I graduated from The Academy of Physical Education with MA Degree in the field of Tourism and Recreation. My responsibilities include assisting with enquiries for both our inbound and outbound programmes, general correspondence and all matters relating to Polish candidates. I am always happy to have the opportunity to speak with our Polish au pairs in their own language when necessary!

Katarzyna Bazyluk – Applications Co-Ordinator

I was born in Poland in a city called Bialystok, which is situated north-east of Poland. Three years ago I graduated and gained a Masters Degree in Management and Marketing from the Technical University in my hometown. I am the applications co-ordinator here, and my duties include general office administration and liaising with au pairs and clients.

Ellen Schmitt – Placement Assistant

I am from Trier, Germany and joined Childcare International at the end of March 2008. Back home I was a student and studied of politics, English and Spanish and I plan to finish my studies in London after my internship here. I speak many languages asides from German, I am fluent in English, French and I also speak a little Spanish. Should any au pair have a problem I will be more than happy to speak to them in their mother tongue.
