Together with our associated Canadian agencies we are pleased to offer the opportunity for NANNIES to participate in the Canadian Live-In Caregiver Programme. The majority of our placements are in Ontario and there are a few opportunities in Nova Scotia and British Columbia.
For placement in Canada applicants must either have a nanny, teaching or nursing diploma or at least one year's live-in experience caring for children.
For Canada, the application process is quite lengthy. Once you have reached agreement with a host family you will be required to make application to the Canadian Consulate in the UK for your Employment Authorisation. You will need to have a medical which includes chest X-ray and blood test with a doctor registered with the Embassy.
Both Childcare International and our associated Agents will give you every possible assistance in selecting the most suitable host family for your stay in Canada. You will have many opportunities to speak with families on the phone and information will be exchanged between yourselves before acceptance.
Requirements & Benefits
