Childcare International is proud to announce our new Au Pair in China Cultural Exchange Programme.
Are you interested in learning Chinese? Do you have some experience in taking care of children? Are you able to spend either 3, 6 or 12 months abroad?
Can you imagine being an au pair in China?
Join a Chinese family and experience a totally different lifestyle in a fast developing country. Through this amazing new programme you will have the chance to meet with new people, learn the Chinese language, explore the real China and experience a totally new lifestyle, safely living with a welcoming carefully chosen Chinese host family.
Au Pair Tasks and Duties: All our Au Pairs agree to assist in the home and with the children for 25 hours per week. We require our au pairs to agree to speak English with the parents and children within the home if requested.
Normal household tasks will be required within the home which can include vacuuming, helping to keep the home neat and tidy, washing dishes after meals, assist with shopping, laundry and other simple household tasks.
Naturally our au pairs must help out with the children whenever possible; wake the children and help them wash and dress, tell them stories, sing, play games together both indoors and outdoors. Make the children's beds, help at bath-time, prepare simple children’s meals, help with homework, take them to school and collect them afterwards.
We hope that during your stay in China you will share your western culture with your chosen host family.
In return you will receive:
- Full board and lodging with your host family
- 240 hours Chinese classes
- At least 900 RMB monthly pocket money
