Our European live-in Companion Housekeepers are willing to assist in the home on a full-time basis (40 – 45 hours per week). They are willing to undertake most household duties including childcare and care of the independent elderly (non-medical). These applicants often have strong experience in domestic work.  These candidates have no age restriction.

Our Canadian Companions and Housekeepers are happy to devote their time to caring for the elderly (non-medical) assisting in the day to day needs such as light housework, preparation and help at mealtimes, shopping, driving, running errands and the general supervision of personal needs.   These candidates will be aged between 18 - 30 years.

Our applicants are sourced and vetted by our reliable partner agencies abroad and they are well informed of the requirements and responsibilities of this type of employment.

We recommend a net salary of between £160 - £250 per week depending on age and experience, plus full board and lodging.

According to Working Time Regulations BAPAA recommends that the UK basic holiday allowance of 28 days per annum should apply or 1.66 days per month pro-rata if the placement is shorter than a year.   This can include public and bank holidays.

Please note that it is the host family's responsibility to ensure that tax and NI contributions are paid.  We will be pleased to give any guidance on this.
