The au pair would be responsible for looking after the children during the day from about 8am-around 6pm. Duties will involve getting the children up and ready for the day and playing with them, feeding them, taking them to the park, basic cleaning up after the children and cooking the childrens dinner.
The family are new to Sydney and are building a house in the next 6 months.
The family are looking for an au pair who is reliable and who has common sense.

This lovely family is looking to welcome their first au pair. Until recently mum has provided most of the care but she is now going to study full time. As her husband works shifts as a pilot, he will also be available most weeks to give the au pair 2 half days. You will be able to go out with the children as you have access to the car.
The timetable above is the maximum week (daily 8-6) but with help from host dad, most weeks will have 2 half days and 3 full days. Mum will generally be home around 4. University will start end Feb so you should have at least 2 weeks togehter with mum to learn the routines etc.
There is also a chance to earn extra money for extra hours if you are interested (cleaning & babysitting)
Both parents have travelled a lot themselves and mum has done a couple of exchange programs too. She speaks a bit of Japanese and would like to learn some French.

They will be moving into a brand new house in January on acreage with bush and a dam. A spa and a pool will also be installed in the coming year. It is very close to hiking, rainforests and waterfalls and 20 minutes to the beach.
They are looking for an aupair to help out with the kids and a little around the house for around 25-30 hours a week and are willing to pay around $200,-/$250,- a week.
Male/Female Stud Farmer in Australia

We are looking for a male or a female to help around the farm until the
middle - end of March 2011. The start date could be betweeen now and mid
December, any time.
Kornong is a small stud farm but has had great breeding success in the past
few years.
We are looking for someone first and formost that is experienced with
Thoroughbred horses. We prepare Yearlings for Sale in March each year and
the horses need handling for approximately 3 months prior to this. This is
a morning and afternoon task. Jobs would include handling and walking the
young horses, hosing them down, lungeing them, brushing them and cleaning
the yards or boxes.
Kornong is also a sheep station and crop farm. The horses are only part of
the job that is involved. There would be sheep work involved (experience
prefered but not required), general maintainence around the farm, helping
with harvest, odd jobs, work in the homestead garden and helping anywhere
that may be required.
The job pays $300.00 per week, and provide food and a place to live. It
would be a very positive experience to live here during the summer month for
anyone who wanted to experience life on a farm in Australia.
The person must first and formost have Thoroughbred horse experience.

Ideal start date is mid/late June as this will give you a month to ‘train’ alongside mum to make sure you are confident to take responsibility when mum goes to work shifts end July.
This is a busy family with a ‘work-hard-play-hard’ attitude. All the children are brought up to be highly independent and the older 2 walk to school by themselves for example. They have some after school activities (Football, Brownies) and need to be driven there.
Light household duties would be expected such as sweeping, tidying up after meals with the rest of family. Stacking and unstacking dishwasher. Childrens laundry washed and folded, uniforms ironed. Childrens rooms kept tidy, dusted, swept and vacuumed. General tidy of house including assisting children in putting away toys etc. cooking for children and or family would be a big plus for us.
You will have weekends off to enjoy the area and the family hope you may enjoy some of your weekends with them too, they have horses and they are building a 2nd home near the beach.
