Au Pair In Australia

Ideal start date is mid/late June as this will give you a month to ‘train’ alongside mum to make sure you are confident to take responsibility when mum goes to work shifts end July.

Both parents work full time, dad works regular hours and mum works shifts.

This is a busy family with a ‘work-hard-play-hard’ attitude. All the children are brought up to be highly independent and the older 2 walk to school by themselves for example. They have some after school activities (Football, Brownies) and need to be driven there.

The role will be busy but fun for the right person. There will be a cleaner for the ‘heavy duty housework’ but you are expected to help out with the general household duties concerning the children.

Light household duties would be expected such as sweeping, tidying up after meals with the rest of family. Stacking and unstacking dishwasher. Childrens laundry washed and folded, uniforms ironed. Childrens rooms kept tidy, dusted, swept and vacuumed. General tidy of house including assisting  children in putting away toys etc. cooking for children and or family would be a big plus for us.

You will have weekends off to enjoy the area and the family hope you may enjoy some of your weekends with them too, they have horses and they are building a 2nd home near the beach.
