This family is looking forward to welcome their 6th au pair. Previous au pairs have been very happy here and contact details are available on request. The au pair mainly helps out with the youngest child Rory while mum focusses on getting the older three children to numerous sporting activities/ clubs and school.
At the weekend the family like to relax and have some 'down time' however the older children do have some sporting commitments on a Saturday morning. Saturday afternoons are the only time that the children can watch TV and play video games. The family have a boat and like to spend some of their free time enjoying it.
GREAT ACCOMMODATION: own bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom. Computer and wireless internet in bedroom. House has a pool.
GREAT LOCATION: Top central Sydney location with beach on your doorstep.

Both parents work, dad full time but home at 3pm and mum part time and only 5 minutes from home. Current au pair Laura from Germany is very happy here and the family can give you her e-mail address. Previous au pair Cindy was also very happy and family can give you her email address. Your role will be to provide the extra pair of hands and care for the children when mum is at work. You will get time with mum the first couple of weeks to get used to the routine, especially with the younger one. At weekends, host dad works some Saturdays and the family like to relax from a busy week. On Sunday they usually schedule some outings. They are keen to make sure you get a chance to explore the area. Emu Plains is a suburb of Sydney with public transport into the city taking just over 1 hour. (direct train) The family also have 2 cats (short-haired and friendly) You have your own large bedroom + bathroom is shared with children. Internet access.

This lovely family is looking to welcome their first au pair. Until recently mum has provided most of the care but she is now going to study full time. As her husband works shifts as a pilot, he will also be available most weeks to give the au pair 2 half days. You will be able to go out with the children as you have access to the car. The timetable above is the maximum week (daily 8-6) but with help from host dad, most weeks will have 2 half days and 3 full days. Mum will generally be home around 4. University will start end Feb so you should have at least 2 weeks togehter with mum to learn the routines etc. There is also a chance to earn extra money for extra hours if you are interested (cleaning & babysitting) Both parents have travelled a lot themselves and mum has done a couple of exchange programs too. She speaks a bit of Japanese and would like to learn some French.
GREAT ACCOMMODATION: own bedroom, bathroom (bath) shared with the children only. Internet at home and a computer & TV in your own lounge room. GREAT LOCATION: on the coast just south of Melbourne. Melbourne is just over an hour and easy to reach by public transport at weekends

This family is looking forward to welcome their first au pair. Host mum Mel is keen for Kate to have a ‘big sister’ especially as she is an only child. She feels the au pair can be a good role model for Kate and they can enjoy being together after school. Kate has many activities after school, all local, so easy for the au pair to take her there. The family is happy to provide the au pair with four weeks at an English language school At weekends the family enjoys sailing at the nearby sailing club and bushwalking. Weekends are mostly action-packed, hectic and fun!
GREAT ACCOMMODATION: own bedroom & bathroom in separate accommodation. Internet at home. The family do not have TV but are happy to provide one in your room

The host mum is a stay at home mum and needs a helping pair of hands. There are two 2 little ones, currently 2 yrs old and 3 months. The 2 year old goes to day care two times a week. At the weekend the family like to do outdoors activities. The family is very flexible when it comes to meal times, cooking and free time. The host mum has said that it would be ideal if the au pair could drive, however she would consider a non driver also. The host family would ideally like a girl who is currently in Australia so that they can meet personally with the au pair.
