I found the services of Childcare International invaluable at the time of sourcing our au pairs. I used these services successfully on around 16 occasions whilst my children were growing up (between the ages of 4 and 13) - having had au pairs that stayed mainly six months at a time, and a couple for about a year. The minute I arrived at the office I felt immediately welcome. Everyone was really nice and explained my tasks patiently. After a settling-in period I got more responsibilities, which was great. My name is Juliane and I had the pleasure of working as a trainee at Childcare International for almost 3 months. Like everybody who starts something new and something completely different to what he has done so far, I had to adjust to my new situation but everybody was very understanding and patient. I was responsible for the communication to the host families, Au Pairs and partner agencies all over the world as well as all other administrative tasks. While working at Childcare International I could gain some insight on the workings of Au Pair Agencies and can say with certainty that they work professionally and have only the best for the Au Pairs and their families at heart. The six months of internship that I spent in London at Childcare International Ltd. were one of the most interesting and useful months in my life. My experience really exceeded my expectations as I learnt lots of new things and met many interesting people from different countries. I remember the first day when I arrived. I was a bit stressed as I did not know what I had to expect. But everybody was really friendly, they showed me the office and soon I started feeling like at home. I felt like living in a family with people who are always ready to help you. From the job perspective, I learnt lots of new and useful things. I was working as a Business Administration Assistant I had a wonderful personal and work related experience and I will never regret that I made the decision to take my internship at Childcare International Ltd. It was a great challenge , wonderful time and a very fulfilling way to do my internship where I acquired a practical knowledge, rather than theoretical.
